Biography

JUNIOR (2014): Played in 15 games and started in six... had one assist against Green Bay... took seven shots (one on goal)... logged 397 minutes. 

REDSHIRT-SOPHOMORE (2013): Played and started in 14 matches… scored one goal, the first of his career, against Western Michigan on Sept. 15… took two shots (one on goal)… logged 1,156 minutes.

SOPHOMORE (2012): Did not see action… was granted a medial redshirt.

FRESHMAN (2011): Played in 16 matches, making 15 starts… logged 1,254 minutes on the year… took 10 shots (five on goal)… had one assist, coming at Bradley on Sept. 1… made his first career start at Bradley… played in a season-high 100 minutes at Evansville on Sept. 11.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Team and the IHSSCA All-State Team in 2010… selected as the Mid Suburban League Player of the Year during senior season… earned all-conference and all-sectional honors in 2009 and 2010... was a two-year captain for his high school team from 2009-10… played for the Chicago Magic Academy.

PERSONAL: Son of Phil and Meegan Filosa… majoring in business management.
