2025-2026 (R-SOPHOMORE): Competed in eight meets during the season... swam three personal best and a season best at the Summit League Championship... at the championship Hughes swam a PR in the 50 Free (21.22), 50 Fly (23.87), 100 Fly (51.49).... season best in the 100 Free was 47.95 recorded at the championship... earned Academic All-District Honors

2024-24 (R-FRESHMAN): Swam in nine meets in during the season... competed in seven events at the Summit League Championships... posted team season top-five times in the 50 free (21.43) and 100 free (47.50), which were both personal bests... also recorded personal bests in the 100 fly (52.48) and 200 free (1:45.57)... Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators... 

HOUSTON: Attended University of Houston for the 2023-24 academic year... did not compete as Houston does not sponsor a men's swim program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three sport athlete at Grand Oaks High School in Spring, Texas competing in swimming, water polo and wrestling... swam club for Swim Streamline at Northhampton... advanced to the UIL Region 4-6A Championships as a senior... placed seventh at the district championships in the 500 free... National Honor Society...
