Biography
2012-13: Saw action in eight individual events as a true freshman... finished with one of the top three Panther season times in both the 100 and 200 butterfly at the end-of-season Summit League meet.
PREP: Swam for coach Matthew Pavlovich at Munster HS.
PERSONAL: Planning on majoring in athletic training... son of Jeff & Carolyn Dobis.
OUT OF THE WATER WITH ERIC: Eric chose EIU, "because I heard good things about the athletic training program"... feels some of Eastern's advantages over other schools include "being an NCAA DI school while also being small"... besides swimming, also enjoys water skiing and lifting... currently driving a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula... enjoys eating gyros and pizza, but dislikes spinach and seafood.
