Biography
COACH BOS SAYS: “Jason had what I would call an off-season last year, so we will look to turn that around in his senior year... he’s strong in the sprint and middle distance freestyle events and has been training well, so I would expect him to contribute a lot this year and end his career with some great times”....
2007-08: Swam in all 13 meets last year, setting three season-best times at the end of the season conference meet... finished in the top-five 20 times over the course of the year....
2006-07: Captured ninth place at the Panther Invite in the 200-IM, while taking eighth place in both the 400-IM and 100-Free finishes... at the conference meet he turned in a fifteenth place finish in the 100-Free, while also setting season-best times in his three other events...
PREP: A four-year member of the varsity swim team at Rockford Guilford for coach Don May....
PERSONAL: Marketing and communications major... son of Brad & Marlise Maurer.
