2012-13 ... Garnered his third consecutive All-Summit League award as he swam the anchor leg of the second place 200-Medley Relay at the end-of-season conference meet... the foursome would set a school record in the process... also improved his Top 10 time 50-Free time (8th) at the same Summit League event... saw action in seven different individual events and eight of the ten relay races... earned both the Finance Excellence and Dean Giffin awards, which mark the highest honors granted to a senior in EIU's Lumpkin School of Business... also one of three Panthers to earn Academic All-Summit League Team accolades, while the EIU men's squad also ranked second in the nation for top team GPAs, as awarded by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

2011-12 ... Earned All-Summit League honors for the second straight season as the anchor of the 200-Medley Relay squad that finished third at the Summit League meet... the foursome finished with a new school-record time of 1:32.27... individually, he ended a fine junior campaign by also setting a new school mark in the 200-Breast at the same end-of-season conference meet... also added his name to the Panther record tally in the 50-Free prelims to now own the 10th best Panther time... also saw action in both the 100 and 200-Free, as well as the 100-Breast... very active in relay events, seeing action in the 400-Free, 400-Medley and 800-Free, besides his outstanding performance in the 200-Medley foursome.

2010-11 ... Earned All-Summit League honors as a member of the second place 800-Free Relay squad which set a new school mark at the end-of-season championship… also saw action as one of four guys on the 400-Medley Relay squad… individually, besides swimming in four Freestyle events, he also saw action in both the 100/200-Breast and 200-IM… finished the year with the second best times in the 100 and 200-Breasts, both of which rank as the fourth fastest time in the Panther record books… also had the second fastest time of the year in the 500-Free.

2009-10 ... His time in the 100-Breast in EIU’s huge win over Western Illinois placed him in the EIU Top 10 in just his first season as a Panther.

HIGH SCHOOL ... Swam and played water polo at Naperville Central HS for coaches Mike Adams and Bill Salentine, respectively... swam on the varsity squad all four years, while earning a spot on the varsity polo team his senior year... named team capatin his senior year... earned Illinois All-State recognition for his times in the 200-Medley Relay and 100-Breast... one of four swimmers to set new school record in the 200-Medley Relay in 2009... named a NISCA/Speedo All-American for both his 200-Medley Relay and 100-Breast events... also broke a Naperville Park District city record in the 100-Breast in 2009... in 2009 Central HS competed at the IHSA state meet... also a member of the championship Maverick Swim Club squad since 2003... earned High Honor Roll honors, as well as All-Conference All-Academic Team, all four years.

PERSONAL ... A finance major, with a minor in accounting... son of Joe & Sheri Ciliak...  his No. 1 sports highlight was “competing in the 2009 IHSA Boys State Meet”... credits his parents for having the biggest influence in his sports career, “because they have always been there to support me”... admires his swim coach, Mike Adams, “because he helped me to believe in myself and kept pushing me to the next level."
