Biography
2008-09: Owned the third best season mark in the 200-Back which he set at the end-of-season Summit League Championship... also set new season bests at the league meet in both the 100-Back and 200-IM.... 2007-08: Swam in 11 of 13 events as a freshman... finished the season with career bests of 58.97 and 2:05.96 in the 100 and 200-Back, respectively, in the prelims of the Summit League Championships... also competed in ten relays over the course of the year....
PREP: Earned four letters for coach Bob Westberg at Tinley Park HS, earning all-conference honors three times... credits coach Westberg for being a major influence on his swimming career, “because he’s been there for me since I was seven years old”... Tinley Park earned conference championships in both his junior and senior seasons... competed on the Tinley Park Sharks club team....
PERSONAL: Kinesiology and sports studies major... son of Harold & Linda Bell.
