Entering his final season at Eastern, Matt will continue to excel in the sprint free events... he is one of the top performaners in the 100 and 200 freestyle... last season at the Panther Invitational, Latham placed fifth, seventh, and eightin in the 50, 100 and 200-Free events, respectively... he also turned in ninth, eighth and sixth place finishes in the same events at the league meet... finished in the top-five 22 times over the course of the season.... was a member of the record-breaking 200 and 400-Free relay squads... son of Justin and Anne Latham... coach he most admires is coach Ray Padovan, because "he has a mustache"... peanut butter and jelly ish is favorite food dish... ‘The Office’ is his favorite t.v. show... best advance he would give to a younger athlete is "to swim fast"... his favorite big city is Chicago.
