Biography
2008-09: Second Team All-Summit League after placing fifth in the 200-Breast and sixth in 400-IM while competing at the conference meet... his time in the 200-Breast earned him the No. 2 spot in the EIU Top 10 for that event... also member of the 400-Medley Relay squad that set new school record... not only finished with the best time in the 200-Breast and second-best in the 100-Breast events over the course of the season, but earned another EIU Top Ten listing in the 100-Breast... his 400-IM finish topped all EIU swimmers and placed him in the EIU Top 10 in that event....
2007-08: Named Summit League ‘Swimmer of the Week’ after taking first in both the 100 and 200-Breast events at EIU’s own Panther Invitational... swam in all 13 meets as a freshman... touched the wall first in 16 individual and/or relay events, including five total in the Panther Invitational alone... overall he earned top-five finishes in 41 races....
PREP: Swam for coach Bob Young at Glenbard East, where he was a two-time IHSA state qualifier and four year letterwinner... sectional champion in 2007....
PERSONAL: Business marketing major... son of Thomas & Janet Scaliatine.
