2019-20 (SENIOR): Played in ten dual matches in the spring finishing season with a 4-6 record with all matches played at the No. 1 singles position... named the OVC Player of the Week for Feb. 20... posted wins against Jackson State, Saint Louis, UIC and Northern Kentucky... finished season ranked second on EIU No. 1 singles all-time wins list... played in nine doubles matches in the spring with a 6-2 record including one match left unfinished... played between No. 1 and No. 2 doubles... opened season with five straight wins at No. 1 doubles... finished season ranked sixth on all-time EIU doubles wins list with 40... in the fall played at the ITA Midwest Regional winning a pair of singles matches... 

2018-19 (JUNIOR): Played in all 29 dual matches finishing season with a 15-7 record with seven matches left unfinished... played entire season at number one singles leading the team in wins... named first team All-Ohio Valley Conference... was twice named the OVC Men's Player of the Week on March 13 and April 10... April 10 honor came after beating defending OVC Player of the Year Hendrik Inno of Belmont in straight sets... ended year 2-2 in OVC play... helped team advance to OVC Tournament semifinals with win at number three doubles against Austin Peay... finished season tied for eighth most singles wins in a single season in school history with 15... ended season ranked fourth in career singles wins at number one singles at EIU with 30... played in 27 doubles matches with a 19-3 record and five matches left unfinished... played most of the season at number three doubles with a 14-1 record in that position, was also 5-1 in number two doubles... ended year 3-0 in OVC doubles play... ended season as single season wins leader for doubles in a year with 19... ranked sixth in career doubles wins at number two with 12 and ranked seventh in career doubles wins at number three with 15... posted a 2-4 record in singles play during fall tournament action... OVC Medal of Honor...

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 23 dual matches posting an 11-9 record at No. 1 singles as three matches were left unfinished... named second team All-Ohio Valley Conference... named OVC Men's Player of the Week on Jan. 31 after back-to-back wins at IUPUI and Chicago State... was 2-4 in OVC play in singles action... ended season ranked fifth on EIU career list for wins at No. 1 singles with 15... played in 23 doubles matches with a 10-10 record and three matches left unfinished... played most of the season with Grant Reiman playing both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles... posted a 2-6 record in singles fall tournament action... 

2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Played in the first nine matches of the season before being sidelined due to injury... went 4-5 in singles play over the nine-match span playing at the No. 1 position... finished the season 5-5 in doubles play partnering with Gage Kingsmith for a 3-5 doubles record at the start of the season... returned to action in the final two matches of the year partnering with Trent Reiman to record back-to-back wins over Hanover and Illinois-Springfield.

HIGH SCHOOL: O'Brien came to EIU from Surrey in the United Kingdom where he was ranked twelfth in his county and 89th in the entire country... trained at the Bath Tennis Academy... competed in both junior and men's open events, winning multiple Grade 3 level tournaments... participated in the County Cup for Surrey helping them get back in to the Premier League, which contains the top 4 counties in the UK.
