2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 24 matches his freshman season finishing the year with a team-best 11-13 singles record... saw action at every position over the course of the season with a 5-5 record at the No. 2 spot... earned a 2-4 conference singles record with wins over Tennessee State and Jacksonville State... did not play in any doubles matches.

Came to EIU from Malmo, Sweden after playing club tennis for one of the biggest teams in Sweden; Fair Play tk... his club team won both the indoor and the outdoor tennis championships in 2015... Was ranked as high as No. 8 in the nation and No. 2 in his region during his junior career... represented his country as a Swedish National Team championship winner.
