HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track and field at Monticello High School during senior year... ended prep career as the IHSA Class 2A State Champion in the discus with a championship mark of 193'11" which set an IHSA Class 2A state record... advanced to the IHSA state meet in the shot put as a senior placing 12th with a finals mark of 50'0.50"... had a season best throw of 52'11.50"...
