HIGH SCHOOL: Played softball at Columbia City High School for coach Dan Weigold... helped team post an Indiana Class 3A state runner-up finish as a junior hitting . 458 at the plate... added 29 RBI and 28 runs... hit .429 as a sophomore as team reached final eight of Class 3A state tournament... was a career .411 hitter in high school with 28 career doubles... was a two-time All-Northeast 8 Conference selection... Academic All-State... selected to represent the Great Lakes Region as part of the USA Elite Select All-American series...
