2014 ... Jessica redshirted her freshman campaign before transferring from EIU without any playing time.

HIGH SCHOOL ... A four-year letterwinner at Cuthbertson HS in Waxhaw, N.C.... earned four letters as she captured all-conference, all-district, All-State, MVP and team captain honors... in the classroom was a high school scholar and honors student.... member of the Lady Lightning Team Gold Miken travel team for coach John Corn.

PERSONAL ... While in high school, she founded and was president of the SAVE Club (Students Against Violence Everywhere)... her work with this new club, and the events that took part in it, have helped her receive regional, state and national recognition.

OFF THE FIELD WITH JESSICA ... She chose EIU, "because I loved the campus and how family-oriented and welcoming the coaches and girls are"... while also adding "I want to play for Panther softball because it has been my dream to play college ball for several years now... EIU gave me this opportunity and all the pieces fit together perfectly... I can't imagine myself anywhere else."
