EASTERN ILLINOIS:  Competed in all seven meets during 2007 cross country season... had top finish of 14th at EIU Panther Open with one other Top 20 finish at the SIU Saluki Invite... top time was 19:04 at the EIU Panther Open... ran 3,000m and 5,000m at OVC indoor championships scoring points with 8th place finish in the 5,000m... ran 5,000m and 10,000m at 2008 OVC Outdoor championships with an 8th place finish in the 10,000m run... competed in five events for EIU during 2006 season... Top 30 finish at OVC Championships as EIU placed third in team competition... also ran at NCAA Midwest Regional... Top 5K time was 19:59.75 at Saluki Invitational... competed in 3,000 meter and 5,000 meter events during 2007 indoor track season... member of 2007 OVC Indoor Track Championship team... best 3,000 time was 11:10.69 at EIU Friday Night... best 5,000 time was 19:07.55 at the OVC Championships... competed in several different distance events in 2007 outdoor season... ran 10,000 meters at OVC Championships scoring points for EIU Championship team.

High School: Prepped for coach Steve Currins at Palatine High School earning varsity letters in cross country and track… two-time All-Mid Suburban West Conference honors in track… Palatine was second in cross country in 2003 as she earned All-State honors with a 14th place finish.

Personal: Majoring in secondary education… daughter of John and Linda O’Brien… number one personal sports highlight was “earning All-State with a 14th place finish during junior year.”
