HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country and track at the high school level competing for two different schools in the two sports...  in cross country ran for Oakwood (Fithian) High School making three straight trips to the IHSA Class 1A Cross Country State Championships...  placed 47th as a senior with a 3-mile time of 18:49.6...  was 16th at the state championship meet as a sophomore with a 112th place finish as a junior...  on the track competed for Salt Fork (Catlin) High School advancing to the IHSA Class 1A State Track & Field Championships each year of prep career...  as a senior was 10th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:21.10...  was a state qualifier in the 800 meter run all four years adding appearances in the 1600 meter as a junior and 400 meter as a sophomore...  won three 800 meter Sectional titles winning at St. Anne (Senior), Catlin Salt Fork (Sophomore) and St. Joseph-Ogden (Freshman)...
