HIGH SCHOOL:  Ran cross country and track at Morton High School and was a three time IHSA Class 2A Cross Country State Championship qualifier...  placed 62nd at the state championships as a senior with a time of 18:33.31 on the 3-mile course...  placed 97th at the state meet as a junior after a 116th showing as a sophomore...  as a senior competed in the NXR Midwest Regional Championship placing 13th with a 5K time of 20:13.5...  on the track was a IHSA Class 2A Track & Field State Championship qualifier in both the 3200 meter run and 4x800 relay...  posted a season best 3200 meter time of 11:08.40 at the Palatine Distance Night...  ran the third leg on the 4x800 relay team that placed first at the Indoor Illinois Top Times Meet with a relay time of 9:34.07...  as a junior earned a trip to the state championships in the 800 meter and on the 4x800 relay team...  was a member of the bronze medal 4x800 relay team that posted a time of 9:35.57...  as a freshman ran the opening leg on the 4x800 relay team that placed fifth in the state with a time of 9:50.85...
