Biography
2008: Diana redshirted the season but will return next season....
2007: Diana saw limited action, playing in three games this past fall... earned her first career try in the season opener versus the Indiana All-Stars, while adding two solo tackles as well....
HS: Four-year letterwinner as a member of the volleyball, basketball and track squads while at Red Hill HS... earned MVP and team captain honors....
PERSONAL: Majoring in athletic training... her parents, William & Debbie Zultowski, have been the biggest influence in her sports career, “because they always encourage me and support all that I do”... No. 1 sports highlight was “scoring in my first rugby game”....
FUN FACTS: ‘Lil D’ chose EIU “because of rugby, plus EIU has a friendly atmosphere”... drives a 2001 Monte Carlo... enjoys Mexican food... ‘Delu’ is the name of her cat... enjoys anything outdoors, camping and fishing... her advice to a younger athlete is “don’t take being healthy for granted”... her life philosophy is “what’s the point of living if you can’t feel alive?”... since coming to EIU she has learned “more respect and maturity”... Lantz is her favorite building on campus... her secret talent is being able to impersonate other people... also enjoys playing basketball....
COACH GRAZIANO SAYS: “Diana will rejoin the team this coming spring after redshirting the fall season... she has the ability to play several positions and we look forward to her returning to the lineup.”
