2012:  Playing four contests, Williams set or tied new personal bests in five stat categories... including earning 15 points yet again off three trys vs. Lindenwood... scampered for three runs over 20-yards at Wisconsin All-Stars.

2011:  A late addition to the Panther squad, Nia made an immediate impact as she finished among the team leaders in trys, points, and runs over 20-yards... on three occasions she registered a pair of trys, including two as EIU routed Purdue at home to end the 10-0 campaign... also shined defensively with 15 solo stops as EIU clawed past arch-rival UNI, which earned a spot on the single-game record books.

HS:  Nia played basketball and track at Waubonsie Valley HS where she earned a letter for her accomplishments... played AAU basketball for the Bolingbrook Panthers.

PERSONAL:  Undecided on a major... daughter of Frank & Aretha Williams... No. 1 personal sports moment was "earning first place at the conference meet in long jump my very first year of track"... says that nobody has specifically influenced her sports career "just probably others around me that are better than me, pushing me to be better"... her cousin, Bianca Leblanc, ran track and did long jump at LSU.
