Biography


2011:  Finished her Panther career on a high note as she dished out seven assists to set a new EIU single-game mark as the Panthers routed Purdue in the home finale... saw action in all ten games, tying or setting new career highs in five statistical categories in the proces... her seven assisted stops versus Grand Valley State and her two steals-at-tackle at WI-Milwaukee were career highlights... added her name to the EIU Top 25 career lists with 11 assists and 56 solo tackles to tie for 23rd and 12th all-time, respectively.

2010: Seeing action in all eleven games this past season, Tina set new career highs in nearly every stat category... that includes earning her first collegiate try in the Panthers’ tough loss at Grand Valley State... in fact she was the lone EIU player to earn a point in that defeat... twice had an assist and also notched 11 solo tackles as Eastern downed Big Ten foe Michigan at home.

2009: As a first year player, Tina played in all ten games, earning 22 total solo tackles, including a high of seven in EIU’s big win over UNI... ran over 20-yards and earned a steal-at-tackle twicein.... HS/JC: Club rugby letterwinner fof coach Howe at Waubonsie Valley HS, earning team captain honors as a senior... also played basketball and volleyball... transferred from College of DuPage... 

PERSONAL: An elementary education major, Tina is the daughter of John & Tari Crema... credits her parents for influending her sports career, “because they have always been there for me, taking me to games and encouraging me in every situation, no matter how hopeless it felt”... two of her cousins played rugby at UIC.... 

FUN FACTS: ‘Teen Bean’ chose EIU “for the elementary education program”... also enjoys playing football and basketball... drives a 2000 Chevy Impala... loves eating ravioli, but dislikes black olives or sushi... favorite TV show is ‘Lost’... favorite building on campus is Lantz... since coming to EIU learned “that if you want something you have to go get it and not give up”... her advice for younger athlete is to “work hard and don’t giveup.”
