2009: Burke played in two games, seeing action off the bench in OVC games at Murray State and Eastern Kentucky… logged a season-high 10 minutes at Murray.

HIGH SCHOOL: Caitlin played for coach Nick Carr… also lettered in football, serving as CHS’s placekicker her sophomore year, and cross country… earned All-South Seven Conference honors as a sophomore and junior… team captain as a senior… 2007 Fralish Cup All-Tournament Team… CHS was a three-time regional champion… honor roll student… also played for the St. Louis Scott Gallagher (formerly Metro United) club team, which finished was the runner-up at the 2008 State Cup.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was being the kicker on her high school’s football team her sophomore year… most admires her former coach Amu because “he taught me to play with everything I have no matter what the situation”… her uncle Steve Richardson is a veteran sportswriter who served as the executive director of the Football Writers Association of America and has authored multiple books about Big 12 Conference sports… daughter of J.R. Russell and Amy Burke-Russell… MAJOR: Elementary Education.
