SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in 19 matches, making two starts… made her first career start at Drake on Sept. 16… logged a season-high 48 minutes at Butler on Sept. 14… took two shots (one on goal) during the season. 

FRESHMAN (2011): Played in 12 matches during her freshman campaign… logged 367 minutes on the year… took two shots (one on goal)… played in a season-high 53 minutes at IUPUI (Sept. 2) and against in-state rival Western Illinois (Sept. 9) at Lakeside Field.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was selected to the All-Kensington Lakes Activities Association (KLAA) First Team in 2009 and 2010… also earned All-KLAA North Division First Team accolades… named to the all-district first team during sophomore and junior campaigns… guided Walled Lake Northern High School to a division championship in 2009 and 2010… helped high school team win three consecutive city championships from 2008-10… was named team defensive MVP during sophomore and junior seasons… selected as the team’s “Ironman” in 2008 for playing 1,600 consecutive minutes… also participated in competitive cheer, cross country and track… coached by Drew Drummond.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Bill and Janine Friend… father played soccer at Central Michigan University… majoring in kinesiology and sports studies.
