Biography
COACH BOS SAYS: “Story is a former high school state qualifier in the sprint freestyle events and is in a group of talented freshman sprinters... she’s a strong swimmer who relies more on upper body strength than her kick, which is an area we are trying to develop and will be of great help to her in the future... she should be a mainstay in both the sprint and freestyle relays”....
PREP: Four-time varsity and letterwinner for coach Tim Caldwell at Homewood-Flossmoor HS... also a three-year letter earner as a member of the varsity water polo squad... set new 200 and 400-Free Relay records her junior season, earning All-American honors.. tabbed for conference, sectional and all-state kudos as both a swimmer and water polo player... voted as swim team captain her senior year....
PERSONAL: Early childhood education major... daughter Edward & Elisabeth Pumphrey.
