2014-15 ... Swam in nine different individual events during her final senior campaign... tallied four personal best marks at the end-of-season league meet... earned the top Panther season mark in both the 50-Breast and 100-IM, versus Valparaiso and Saint Louis, respectively... member of the 200-Free Relay unit.

2013-14 ... Saw action in a pair of freestyle and breast events, as well as the 200-IM... set a season-best time in the 200-IM at the Summit League event... also saw action in the 1000-Free Relay at the IUPUI Relay event as the second leg.

2012-13 ... Ended a fine sophomore campaign by competing in eight different individual events... set new season best times in the 100/200-Breast and 200-IM at the end-of-season Summit League championship... one of three Panthers to earn Academic All-Summit League Team accolades.

2011-12 ... Added her name to the Panther record books as a true freshman as she now owns the 10th fastest time in the 100-Breast while ccompeting at the end-of-season Summit League meet... also saw action in both 400-Free and 800-Free Relay foursomes.

HIGH SCHOOL ... Played softball and swam for her father at Galesburg HS... earned seven total letters during her prep career... her squad went undefeated in swimming duals during all through high school... four-time conference champion... named MVP of her swim squad... named Western Big Six All-Conference all four years as a swimmer and once as a member of the softball squad... held school mark for most doubles... named Academic All-Conference, Principal's Scholar, Illinois State Scholar, and honored by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association as an Academic All-American.

PERSONAL ... Majoring in elementary education ... daughter of Ray & Diane VanHootegem... her dad and aunt, Erika VanHootegem, were both collegiate athletes.
