Biography
2011-12 ... Swam in eight individual events in her final season as a Panther during her junior campaign... set season-best times in the 100 and 200-Fly and 200-IM at the Summit League meet.
2010-11 ... Competed in five individual events during her sophomore EIU season... that included action in the 100-Back, 100-Breast, both the 100 and 200-Fly and 200-IM… sported the third fastest time by a Panther both her fly events.
HIGH SCHOOL/JC ... Swam two years on the varsity squad at John Hersey HS in Arlington Heights… also attended a year of junior college at Harper College.
PERSONAL ... majoring in biological sciences… daughter of Stuart & Mary Ruffin... born on February 25.
OUT OF THE WATER WITH REBECCA ... Enjoys playing soccer and gymnastics as well as her swimming… family owns both a golden retriever and a chocolate lab, who she wishes she could bring to EIU… can’t go anywhere without her ipod.
