HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track at Teutopolis High School... advanced to the IHSA Class 1A State Championships as a senior in the 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter and 4x100 relay... won the Altamont Sectional in all four events with times of 12.29 (100), 25.80 (200), 1:00.25 (400) and 51.23 (4x100 relay - anchor leg)... made the state meet in the 100 meter and 200 meter events all four years of high school...
