Eastern Illinois University Athletics

Jenn King was hired as the assistant athletic director for academic services beginning her new role with the Eastern Illinois athletic department on July 1, 2024.  In addition King serves as a member of the Athletic Department senior staff and as the Panthers Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

King started her career in EIU's academic services department as an assistant director of academic services in January of 2020.  King moved into an administrative role following one year as an assistant coach on the EIU volleyball staff in 2019.

Prior to coming to EIU, King worked as the head volleyball coach at Nova Southeastern University from 2014-18 earning Sunshine State Conference co-Coach of the Year honors in 2015.  She coached nine All-Conference selections and had the team regionally ranked for the first time since the 2009 season.  She also was the head coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State from 2010-13 coaching ten All-Conference performers.  

She has additional assistant coaching stops at St. Leo, Marist College and Siena.  

King had 11 Academic All-Conference selections during her time as a head coach.  

King played collegiate volleyball at Siena College earning first team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honors.  She earned her bachelor's degree from Siena in 2003.

She and husband Dan have two children.
