Biography

2017 (RS-SENIOR): Did not play in any matches during the 2017 season.

2016 (JUNIOR): Started all 31 matches as a redshirt-junior... was second on the team in kills with 241 and kills per set at 2.06... set a pair of career-highs in kills (18) and digs (26) at Tennessee Tech... recorded a kill-dig double-double at Indiana State (10 kills, 10 digs), at Jacksonville State (14 kills, 17 digs), and against UT Martin (11 kills, 21 digs)... recorded 15+ digs on six different occasion... totaled five blocks against Southeast Missouri... finished with 15+ points at Jacksonville State and at Tennessee Tech...

2015 (SOPHOMORE):  Appeared in 27 matches as a redshirt-sophomore... was second on the team in total blocks with 80 and blocks per set average at 0.75... ended the year with the eighth best hitting percentage in the OVC for conference only games with a mark of .317... Tied her career-high of 14 kills in a match against SIU Edwardsville... hit above .450 one time in a match against UT Martin at .467... tallied 5+ blocks on four different occasions as she set a new career-high with 12 against Murray State... OVC Top 10:  Finished 8th in hitting % (.317) in league-only play, and 10th overall (.256) for the season... ranked 5th in blocks-per-set (1.02) for OVC-only play... OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014 (RS-FRESHMAN): Saw action in 25 matches as a redshirt-freshman... led all full-time hitters with a .282 attack mark, which tied for 18th in the EIU single-season ranks overall and in tenth place during the current rally-scoring era... that average also ranked in Top 10 of the OVC, while her league-only clip of .317 earned her a 4th place standing... nailed 14 kills in a match on two occasions, at both TSU and JSU... hit over .450 on four occasions, including a season-best .462 clip in EIU's tough five-set road loss to the Gamecocks... also tallied six total blocks against both SEMO and DePaul... secured 5+ blocks and 15-or-more points twice... EIU Top 10:  Ranked 10th in single-season hitting (.282)... OVC Top 10:  Finished 4th in hitting % (.317) in league-only play, and 8th overall (.282) for the season, as she helped EIU earn runner-up team honors for hitting on the year ... OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (FRESHMAN): Utilized a medical redshirt season during her freshman campaign...
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Four-year letterwinner at volleyball power Maria Stein Marion Local HS... also played basketball her freshman season and a sophomore member of the track team, earning a letter as well... supported by a large group of coaches -- Amy Steininger, Mary-Lou Bruns, Abby Niekamp, and Kim Poeppleman -- while at Marion... named team captain as a senior... had an outstanding junior campaign earning First Team MAC, Second Team District 8 and Honorable Mention All-Ohio kudos as her squad earned the third of four consecutive league championships... Marion Local earned Ohio state championships during both her freshman and senior seasons, while going undefeated in the regular-season in 2009 and 2010... also tallied District title and won the Convoy Crestview Tourney for the fifth straight year... a four-year honor roll member in the classroom, she was also a member of the freshman student council as well as earning second place Earth Science and Chinese awards, while also a pep club officer.
