Joe Niehaus was hired as the Panthers head strength and conditioning coach in the spring of 2014 following a stint as an assistant strength & conditioning coach at EIU.

Niehaus served one year as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Tulsa. He served as a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach at EIU from 2008 - 2010.

Niehaus is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. The Oskaloosa, Iowa native is a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USAW.
