Eastern Illinois University Athletics

Alexis Fenrick was hired as an assistant athletic trainer at Eastern Illinois in June 2023.  She works with the EIU football team and swimming.  She was elevated to an associate athletic trainer in August 2025.

She came to EIU after working the 2022-23 academic year at North Texas with football in the fall and softball in the spring.  She has additional collegiate experience working at St. Mary’s University (Minn.) with the track & field program and then as an undergraduate at Winona State assisting with volleyball and football. 

She is a graduate Winona State earning both her bachelor’s (2022) and master’s (2023).  Fenrick was a student-athlete at Winona State competing in cross country / track & field.
