Eastern Illinois University Athletics

Amber May joined the Panthers Athletic Department as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development in January of 2025.
 
May oversees the Panthers corporate partnerships along with the day-to-day operations of the EIU Panther Club and additional fund raising tasks.

In the spring of 2025 the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) announced May as one of the winners of the 18th Annual Diversity Initiative Program.
 
May earned both her bachelors and master's degree from Eastern Illinois as a member of the Panthers softball program.  She was a three-time All-OVC selection earning 2011 OVC Pitcher of the Year and was inducted into the EIU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021. 

May worked in the EIU Alumni Association office since 2012 most recently serving as the Director of Alumni Services before transitioning over to EIU Athletics.
