King began her career at EIU in the athletics department in 1996.  During her tenure, she has served athletics in many capacities as an office systems specialist.  Currently, she serves as photographer and graphic designer to the athletics, media relations, and marketing departments, in addition to the Panther Club.
She also owns Pix’elle Photography, specializing in family, senior and wedding portraits.
King and her husband Bill, live in Casey, Ill.
