Eastern Illinois University Athletics

Thomas Erdey joined the Eastern Illinois Athletic Training staff as a full-time member in January of 2025.  Erdey returns to the Panthers Athletic Department after previously working two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and earning his master's degree from EIU in 2024.  During his time at EIU has has worked as an athletic trainer with volleyball, beach volleyball, football, cross country, track and field.  

Following graduation, Erdey worked the 2024 fall semester at Ohio Valley Conference member Tennessee Tech. 

He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska earning his bachelor's degree in 2022.
