Biography
EIU CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in three meets during the 2011 cross country season... ran a personal best 5K time of 19:33 at the Illinois Intercollegiate... redshirted 2010 cross country season... competed in six meets during the 2009 cross country season with a top time of 20:05 at the Illinois Intercollegiate.
EIU TRACK: During 2012 track season only competed in one event during indoor season running the 3,000m with a time of 11:21.05... redshirted 2011 indoor season, did not compete in 2011 outdoor track... competed in 2010 indoor track season, redshirted the 2010 outdoor track season... ran 3000m during indoor season with top time of 12:22.68 coming at EIU Mega Meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: competed as a distance runner at Webber Township HS placing 61st at IHSA Class A Cross Country championships with a 3-mile time of 19:39. She placed 3rd at Olney Regional and 4th at Edwardsville Sectional to advance to state meet as an individual runner. As a junior Bergbower placed first in Robinson Regional with a time of 19:15, while finishing 4th in Edwardsville Sectional and 33rd in Class A with a time of 18:59. She also qualified for IHSA state meet as a sophomore placing 55th.
