HIGH SCHOOL: Middle distance runner at PORTA HS... was a four-event qualifier at the IHSA Class A state track meet as a junior competing in the 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay, 400m and 800m events... 4x800 relay team placed second at the state championships with a time of 9:41.17 while placing fifth as an individual in the 800m at 2:17.01... was the sectional champion in the 400m and posted a time of 1:00.41 in the event at the state meet.
