#Erika Ramos# of women's indoor track and #Mick Viken# of men's indoor track were selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Ramos won the women's 800m run at the EIU Early Bird with a time of 2:13.96 which ranks as the third fastest time in EIU history.  The mark also stands as the second fastest 800m mark this season in the NCAA.

Viken won the pole vault at the EIU Early Bird with a height of 16'9.50".  That mark ranks second all-time on the EIU pole vault list and ranks first in the NCAA for pole vault marks this season.
