Brent McNeil of baseball and Carly Willert of softball have been selected as the EIU student-athletes of the week.

McNeil helped the Panthers pick up a couple of wins during the week with his efforts on the mound. He pitched 7 1/3 innings of relief during the week including four innings in Saturday's second game win over Murray State. McNeil did not allow an earned run in three appearances.

Willert helped the Panthers win a weekend series at Austin Peay and remain in first place in the OVC softball race. She hit .667 for the weekend and .563 for the week with a double, home run and five RBI.
