Alfonzo McKinnie and Jeremy Granger both from men's basketball have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week.  The Panthers picked up home wins against Maine and Stony Brook

McKinnie averaged 16 points per game for the week hitting 64.7 percent from the floor.  The sophomore had his first career double-double against Maine with 24 points and 8 rebounds.  McKinnie is currently second in the OVC in field goal percentage.

Granger averaged 19.5 points per game as he won his second OVC Player of the Week award this season.  Granger had 25 points against Stony Brook.  He had 14 points against Maine including all nine of EIU's points in overtime.  Granger added 14 assists and 12 rebounds for the week.
