Jade Riebold of women's track and Mariah King of women's basketball have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week. 

In her first action as a Panther Riebold set the school record for the indoor pole vault at the EIU Early Bird Meet.  Riebold cleared 12'11.50" as she six inches better than the school's previous top mark set in 2005.

King helped the Panthers post a 2-1 record for the week with 12 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.  King collected her second career double-double in a two-point loss at Missouri.  For the week she shot 44.7 percent from the field.
