Calvin Edwards from men's indoor track and Erika Ramos from women's indoor track have been selected the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Edwards posted three top ten finishes at the Grand Valley State Big Meet.  He won the competitive 200m dash with a time of 21.52 which ranks fourth on the EIU career list.  He later placed 10th in the 60m dash and was the opening leg on the 9th place 4x400 relay team.

Ramos placed second in the mile run on Friday night at the Grand Valley State Big Meet.  Her time of 4:47.16 set the school record passing the previous mark by six seconds.  Ramos also ran a middle leg on the 4x400 relay team that placed 14th.
