Britney Whitehead and Jalisa Paramore both of women's outdoor track have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Whitehead posted a pair of first place finishes in the 1500m and steeplechase helping EIU win its fifth straight OVC outdoor title.  She set the stadium record in the steeplechase.  Whitehead returned to earn a third place finish in the 5K with her time ranking in the EIU career top ten.

Paramore was a versatile athlete for the women's track team helping them win their fifth straight OVC Championship.  She won the women's 100m hurdles and placed third in the long jump.  Paramore scored points in the 100m dash with her prelim time ranking 8th on EIU's career top ten list.
