Chris Olivier from men's basketball and Hanna Mennenga from softball have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Oliver averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3 blocks in two games last week as the Panthers posted a 2-0 record.  In Saturday's win over SIU Edwardsville that locked up a spot in the OVC Tournament, Olivier was 8-of-15 from the floor with 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Mennenga helped EIU win the Charleston Southern Tournament over the weekend with a 4-0 record in the circle.  In Saturday's championship game win over Applachian State, Mennenga had 11 strike outs during a 1-0 win.  For the weekend she posted 40 K's winning OVC Pitcher of the Week honors.
