Brendon Allen from baseball and Haleigh Knapp from women's track have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Allen earned OVC Pitcher of the Week honors after picking up the series opening win at UT Martin.  He worked seven innings allowing just three hits with a no-hit bid lasting until the fifth inning.  He added ten strike outs as he ranks in the top ten in the OVC in strike outs per game this season.   

Knapp won the women's high jump at the OVC Outdoor Track Championships helping the Panthers pick up their seventh overall outdoor OVC team title.  In the process Knapp increased her own school record and set the OVC record in the event clearing 6'00.50".  She is currently ranked 8th in the NCAA in the high jump.
