GAME 15
Eastern Illinois will play the first of two nationally televised contests on ESPNU this Saturday when the Panthers host Southeast Missouri at 11 a.m. EIU has won two straight to improve to 9-5 overall, 3-1 in the OVC. EIU is currently tied for second in the conference standings after wins over Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech. Southeast Missouri is off to a 5-9 start and 2-2 mark in the OVC following a weekend split with JSU and TTU. This will be the second time that EIU and SEMO have met on ESPNU, the previous time was Feb. 13, 2007, a 77-69 win by the Panthers.

EIU-SOUTHEAST MISSOURI SERIES
Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri will meet on the hardwood for the 40th time on Saturday afternoon with the Panthers holding a slight 21-18 series lead over the Redhawks. EIU swept the season series over SEMO last season winning 83-63 in Cape Girardeau and 70-62 at Lantz Arena. EIU has won four out of the last five meetings between the two schools dating back to their appearance on ESPNU in 2007.

SCOUTING SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
Southeast Missouri is under the direction of first year head coach Dickey Nutt and the Redhawks have already posted more wins this season at 5-9 than they did all of last year when they suffered a 3-27 record. SEMO returns only four players from last year's team as they are led by junior college transfer Anthony Allison averaging 11.1 points per game. Coach Nutt is 1-3 against EIU while coaching at Arkansas State from 1995-2008.

APPEARING ON ESPNU
EIU will have two home appearances on ESPNU this season as the Panthers host SEMO this Saturday and Morehead State on Feb. 11. These will be the third and fourth home appearances for EIU on ESPN stations. The Panthers played on ESPN2 in 2007 against Samford and ESPNU in 2007 against SEMO.
