GAME 23
Eastern Illinois will play its second to final regular season road contest this Saturday at Southeast Missouri. The Panthers lost the opening two games to start their current three game swing falling at Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State. EIU is currently in seventh place in the OVC race with a 5-7 conference record, 11-11 overall. Southeast Missouri also lost both games on the same road swing that EIU just took as the Redhawks dropped to 3-8 in the OVC. SEMO did pick up a non-conference win over SIU Edwardsville on Tuesday night to improve to 7-15 overall.

EIU-SOUTHEAST MISSOURI SERIES
Eastern Illinois currently holds a 22-18 series lead over Southeast Missouri after the Panthers won the earlier meeting this year, 88-68, over the Redhawks. EIU has now won four games in a row over SEMO dating back to the 2008 season. The Panthers have picked up three wins in their last four trips to the Show-Me Center all under current head coach Mike Miller. The lone SEMO win over EIU at home came on Jan. 4, 2007 with a 80-65 Redhawks victory.

SCOUTING SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
Southeast Missouri has posted a 2-6 record since the Redhawks lost to Eastern Illinois on Jan. 9 in Charleston. SEMO has been playing with a different line-up over that eight game stretch as post player Cameron Butler has missed seven games after averaging 9.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. In his absence SEMO has had Anthony Allison and Sam Pearson step up their production as Allison leads the team with 10.4 ppg and Pearson has 9.8 ppg to go along with a team-high 55 assists.

PANTHERS SCHEDULE “WHITE OUT” FOR MOREHEAD GAME
EIU will have a “White Out” Lantz Arena night on Feb. 11 when they host Morehead State at 8 p.m. in a nationally televised game on ESPNU. The first 300 students will get a free white T-shirt compliments of MyCharlestonDentist.com
