Eastern Illinois men's and women's basketball will host a pair of big home games on Saturday evening against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.  Tip off is 4 p.m. for the women while the men are scheduled to tip at 6 p.m.  

EIU WOMEN
The EIU women enter the Saturday contest looking to end a four-game losing skid.  EIU fell to first place Tennessee Tech on Thursday as the Panthers now stand at 9-11 overall, 5-5 in the OVC.  EIU is currently tied for fifth place in the OVC race with Jacksonville State (8-13, 5-5 OVC).

EIU MEN
The EIU men enter Saturday game on the heels of two straight games in which the Panthers have lost in the final ten seconds on a 3-pointer.  EIU is in seven place in the OVC standings with a 8-12 record, 4-6 in the OVC.  Jacksonville State won its first OVC game of the season Thursday to improve to 3-18, 1-9 OVC.

UPCOMING GAMES
Both EIU teams will have two more home games following this Saturday before hitting the road once again.  The EIU women host SIU Edwardsville on Thursday night with a 7 p.m. tip.  Next Saturday - Feb. 5 - both teams will host Southeast Missouri in an OVC doubleheader.  Then on Monday, Feb. 7, the EIU men host Murray State at 7 p.m.
