MATCH 3
The Eastern Illinois women's soccer team continues its season-opening road swing at Belmont on Friday, Aug. 26. The Panthers play at IUPUI on Sept. 2 to conclude their four-game road schedule before facing Butler on Sept. 4 at Lakeside Field for the team's home opener. EIU is 0-2 on the year while Belmont sits at 1-1.

BELMONT SERIES HISTORY
EIU is 1-0 all-time versus Belmont, defeating the Bruins in the lone meeting between the two squads a year ago in Charleston. Then-sophomore Kristin Germann connected on a penalty kick with only 12 seconds remaining in the match, giving EIU the 1-0 victory.

SCOUTING BELMONT
After dropping a 2-0 road contest at Samford, the Bruins defeated Tennessee Tech, 3-1, on Aug. 21 for their first win of the season.

Allie Hicks, Alex Morgado and Rachel Schmidt all have netted one goal on the year. Nicole Berner has a 1.62 goals against average in 166 minutes of action in goal.

GERMANN SCORES PANTHERS FIRST GOAL OF 2011
EIU's 2010 leading goal scorer, Kristin Germann, posted her first goal of the year and EIU's first goal of the 2011 season last Sunday night at Missouri. The junior forward tallied six goals and one assist last season.
