Coming off a season-opening upset of Northwestern, the Eastern Illinois men's soccer team hits the road for matches at Bradley and Central Arkansas. The Panthers face Bradley on Sept. 1 and Central Arkansas on Sept. 3. EIU and Central Arkansas are both 1-0 on the year while Bradley sits at 2-0.
PANTHERS RANKED IN NSCAA/ADIDAS REGIONAL POLL
The Eastern Illinois men's soccer team was ranked eighth in the most recent (Aug. 30) NSCAA/adidas Midwest Regional Poll. Former Missouri Valley Conference rival Bradley is ranked two spots ahead of the Panthers in sixth place. Bradley also received 25 votes in the national poll.
BRADLEY SERIES
The Panthers are 8-12-2 all-time against the Braves and are 1-0-1 in the last two meetings between the two squads. EIU and Bradley played to a 2-2 tie last season. EIU head coach Adam Howarth is 2-10-2 against Bradley and 0-6 against the Braves when playing in Peoria, Ill. The Panthers are looking for their first win at Bradley since a 3-1 win during the 1996 season.
CENTRAL ARKANSAS SERIES
EIU is 3-0 all-time against the Bears and has outscored Central Arkansas, 7-0, in those contests. The Panthers won last year's match, 1-0, in Conway, Ark., on Oct. 13. EIU head coach Adam Howarth is 3-0 all-time against the Bears.
BUTLER LEADS UPSET BID OVER NORTHWESTERN

Will Butler found the back of the net in the 93rd minute to give the Panthers a 2-1 overtime victory over Big Ten member Northwestern. EIU's
Mike Picinich scored the equalizer in the 77th minute to eventually send the match into overtime.
