CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay defeated the Panther women's soccer team, 3-0, on Friday night at Morgan Brothers Field. EIU falls to second place in the Ohio Valley Conference standings with a 4-1 record.

Tatiana Ariza gave the Lady Govs an early 1-0 advantage only two minutes into the match before Joceline Quiceno found the back of the net in the 20th minute, making the score 2-0.

Tatiana Ariza scored her second goal of the match in the 82nd minute to seal the 3-0 victory for Austin Peay. The Lady Govs improved to 9-1-2 on the year and 4-0-1 in conference action, taking over first place from the Panthers who entered the match unbeaten in OVC play.

The Lady Govs took 13 more shots (20-7) than the Panthers and took two more corner kicks (5-3). Austin Peay committed seven more fouls (12-5) than EIU on the night.

Meagan Radloff led the Panthers with three shots (one on goal) while Madison Carter added two shots. Tatiana Ariza paced the Lady Govs with nine shots (eight on goal).

Cortney Jerzy (4-4) took the loss in goal for EIU, allowing three goals and making nine saves. Nikki Filippone (8-1-1) earned the win for Austin Peay as she made three saves between the pipes while posting her second shutout of the year.
