CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Panther women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 contest at Southeast Missouri on Sunday afternoon at Houck Stadium. EIU falls to 6-12 on the year and 6-3 in Ohio Valley Conference action.

The Redhawks (8-5-3, 6-1-2 OVC) scored the first of four, first-half goals in the 22nd minute on a goal by Breana Beine before Stephanie Palmer scored her first goal of the year only three minutes later for the 2-0 advantage. Kasey Crowden scored the first of her two goals in the match in the 38th minute before adding the final goal in the 41st minute.

SEMO took 12 more shots (16-4) than EIU and took nine more corner kicks (10-1). EIU committed four more fouls (10-6) in the loss.

Hannah Miller and Meagan Radloff paced the Panther offense with one shot on goal each. Crowden led the Redhawks with four shots (two on goal) while Natasha Minor added three shots on goal.

Cortney Jerzy (6-6) took the loss in goal for EIU, allowing four goals while making seven saves. Ashton Aubuchon (7-5-3) earned the win between the pipes for SEMO as the senior goalkeeper made two saves and posted her seventh shutout of the year.
