COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Panther women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 contest at SEC foe Mizzou on Friday night at Audrey J. Walton Soccer Field.

Melanie Donaldson gave the Tigers (4-3) an early 1-0 lead in the only the second minute of the match when she found the back of the net on a ball played by Reagan Russell. Mizzou took a 2-0 advantage in the 21st minute on a goal by Dominique Richardson. The Tigers added an insurance goal in the 58th minute to seal the 3-0 victory.

The Tigers took 23 more shots (29-6) than EIU and five more corner kicks (5-0). The Panthers committed one more foul (5-4) on the night.

Meagan Radloff led the Panthers with three shots (one on goal) while Lauren Flynn and Richardson both had six shots for the Tigers.

Emily Hinton (0-2) took the loss in goal for EIU, allowing two goals and making four saves in the first half. Kylie Morgan made three saves and surrendered one goal in the second half for the Panthers.

McKenzie Sauerwein (4-3) earned the shutout between the pipes for the Tigers, making four saves on the night.
